With her honest and bewitching approach, Brigitte Jardin draws inspiration from the country-folk repertoire, offering a familiar and unique soundscape. 

 

Originally from Quebec, Brigitte was involved full-time in the Montreal music scene as a drummer in her teens' ages.

Jardin discovered the Yukon in January 2007, at the age of 17, traveling by herself, exploring her grand country, which was then foreign to her, speaking not a word of English. 

 

Brigitte fell for this warm traditional Territory of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council and still living on this land today.

Recently, Brigitte decided to change her stage format; rather than being hidden behind her drums, she is now at the forefront, devoting her energy to her new singer-songwriter project.

As a Queer woman, Jardin incorporates songs that raise genres themes into her performance.

After launching her EP in 2019 and a single in 2021, Jardin is currently working on her first full-length album, in which traditional and contemporary blends will appear.
